What is a Reverse Coed Hybrid Ladder League?

Reverse Coed - Coed teams playing a women’s net. Women must serve women. Men hit behind the 10’ line, may not jump serve, and may not block.

Hybrid - The first hour will be dedicated to pool play which will determine the order of play for the tournament round played in the second hour.

• First Hour (Pool Play): All 4 teams in the pool start at the same time (2 teams on the court, 2 teams on deck) and compete by playing micro games to 5 points (hard cap). The losing team steps off the court, the winning team stays and faces the new challenger. This continues consistently for the entire hour, no break between games unless you are on deck. Points are accumulated by number of game wins to determine seeding for tournament round.

• Second Hour (Tournament): Teams compete in a single elimination tournament. Games played to 21 (win by 2, no cap). Seeding will be determined by pool play (micro game wins).

Ladder - The bottom 2 teams from the 5:00 pool will play in the later pool the following week. The top 2 teams from the 7:00 pool will play in the earlier pool the following week. This will help us get a good mix of competition week to week and will keep the competition level more consistent across teams.

Season Champion - The season champion will be determined by weekly tournament results. In the event of a tie, the advantage will go to the team with the most weekly wins in the earlier pool.
